We took a trip to Pub American In Cocoa Village. This is one of our favorite places to eat in Cocoa Village and they are known for their burgers. They have in my opinion some of the best burgers in Brevard County, Fl. They closed completely the past few months due to COVID. So I was extremely happy to hear they had reopened.
Several months before they closed they upgraded their burgers (which were already amazing) to an 8oz blend of Certified Angus Beef, short rib, brisket, and chuck. That’s a half a pound of some of the juiciest, tastiest burgers you will ever put in your mouth. They also carry a variety of exotic meats for their burgers as well. Depending on the season you can get camel one of our favorites is the lamb burger.
This time I went with the BBQ Beef Burger which is topped with Slow Roasted Pork Butt pulled and tossed in Smoked Berries Chipotle Barbecue Sauce. Fresh Slaw and Dill Pickles on a Toasted Brioche Bun. My only complaint about this burger… was it was too much food, but that’s not really a complaint, more of a compliment. I was only able to eat half of this burger but definitely was happy to have it as leftovers.
I came right at shift change and noticed them scanning the temperature of the staff. Crazy how I thought that was just an obscene thing to do just a few months ago. And now it’s the new “normal” I give them credit for they are already a small establishment, but they still took the steps to remove tables and space them out appropriately. Which I imagine even with a full house isn’t even close to the 50% capacity.
I don’t go out much these days, but when I do I pay attention to the businesses that go above and beyond for the safety of both the staff and guests. The ones that do definitely deserve praise and support.
