The current owners revealed their decision through a Facebook post, indicating a shift in focus to their food truck operations.

“June 26, 2015, Bangkok House was born as we opened our doors to serve our customers my cooking things in public. I still remember how excited, nervous, and joyful we were that day. Thank you so very much for having us and showing us love and support with the restaurant or with my food truck business. Some customers became friends and family. I truly appreciate all of you, including some customers that turned to be enemies forever. You can’t make everyone happy, I guess, but we are not going to focus on that today because it’s their problem, not mine.

Today, June 2, it’s the last day that you can enjoy my cooking spirit in the restaurant. I know it’s a big decision, but I decided to sell my business and close our doors, leaving us just the Bangkok House Express food truck. I still have a lot more to learn, but eventually, I’ll find more time to take care of myself and spend more time with my kids. Thanks again for all the love and support for 9 years in business. It’s been a pleasure to serve you, but I also can’t wait to see what’s out there to offer. Love always,
